For everyone else, welcome to the GET TO KNOW 2000 website. We will be posting all the logs from this incarnation of the Get to Know show here.
The premise of Get To Know is basically the same as an admin interview on FDCMuck. The difference is that anyone can be interviewed, and most of the questions are nonsense! We are here to have fun, and at the same time 'Get to Know' the other members of the muck community. Every interview is moderated, and the audience asks questions, and each is answered in order that they are asked. The event lasts about one hour.
The history of Get to Know is almost as old as the muck, but not quite. This show was started by a character named Eddie back in 1996. After running the show for several months, he decided not to run it anylonger, and found Darkwing to take over as the host. Darkwing took over, and enlisted the help of me, Sassy, to run the show in his absence when work kept him late. Being that I was engaged to him at the time, I was happy to help out, and mostly take over the show from there in out.
For reasons I can no longer remember (I think lack of guests), we stopped running the show. Now, after 2 years, we have brought it back! With the aid of the lovely Belle, we have a new venue, and a long list of new (and old) guests to be on the show!
Anyone that has a character on the muck can be a guest. The show is held once a week, on Tuesday night at 8pm Pacific Time. Please 'mail Sassy' to be scheduled onto the show. We are always looking for new vict^H^H^H...er guests! ;>
